Meet Jamie Krause

Functional & Holistic Nutrition for the Wisdom Years

I’m both a guide and a fellow traveler in the Wisdom Years, deeply curious about what becomes possible when we care for our health with intention and respect. I bring my own life to this work too, as a wife, mother, and lifelong learner still discovering what it means to live in rhythm with my body's wisdom.

Like you, I see the depth and potential of these years. My work is about helping women meet this chapter well-informed and well-supported, so life can be lived fully, now and in the years ahead.

My Path

Like many women, my path has been layered, nonlinear, and shaped by years of life experience.

I’ve navigated childhood adversity. Built a demanding career in a highly technical field. Became a mother later in life to a child with early health challenges, experiences that deeply reshaped my priorities and ultimately led me into the world of functional and holistic health.

My Philosophy

I believe our health is largely within our own hands. Most of what we call lifestyle disease can be prevented, or meaningfully changed, through the daily choices we make about food and how we live.

My role isn't to hand you instructions. It's to help you understand what's happening in your body well enough to make the decisions that are right for you.

And perhaps the hardest shift I ask of any woman: learn to give your own body the same love and care you'd give someone you cherish. That kind of self-prioritization isn't selfish. It's foundational.

The Power of the Wisdom Years 🌿

The Wisdom Years are not a winding down.
They are a coming home.

A season of integration where physical health, emotional clarity, and inner knowing come together.

A time to draw from your deep well of experience.
To reconnect with your body’s signals and needs.
To care for yourself with intention, discernment, and self-respect.

Your time to stand at the front of the line.
To say yes to your health, your energy, and your future.
To build a foundation that supports not just longevity, but quality of life.

When supported properly, this stage of life can become one of the most grounded, expansive, and meaningful chapters you’ll ever live.

If you feel the quiet nudge that there’s a more thoughtful way forward, I would be honored to walk beside you as your guide, ally, and partner in this work.

🌸The Woman Behind the Work

I’m a Midwestern girl at heart, now living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest (Spokane, Washington) with my husband of 35 years, our young adult son, and two endlessly entertaining cats.

I’ve always been deeply curious about how things work, from everything in the natural world to aircraft systems to the remarkable design of the human body. Before stepping fully into functional nutrition, I built a career in aviation, eventually managing the design and development of pilot training programs for United Airlines, work that taught me to think in systems, read people well, and stay calm under pressure. Those same instincts now serve the women I work with, especially when their health picture feels layered and complicated.

I lean on science for clarity and direction, and I lean just as heavily on intuition, mine and my clients'. Both belong in the conversation.

At home, you’ll usually find me reading (my cookbook collection may be slightly out of control), talking to the bees in my organic garden, whipping up ethnic themed dinners, laughing at the funny antics of our cats, or heading outside. Immersing myself in nature is essential. It’s how I recalibrate.

I love adventure. Whether that once meant earning my pilot ratings or now means hiking new and exciting trails, exploring world-heritage ancient sites, or experimenting with herbal concoctions. I believe this season of life is meant to expand, not contract.

And yes, I once accidentally put cayenne pepper instead of cinnamon in my husband’s oatmeal. The look on his face was priceless. It still makes me laugh.

“Health is a state of complete harmony of the body, mind, and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open.” — B.K.S. Iyengar

I'd be honored to help you find this in your own body, in this season of life.
